California-based singer-songwriter Melissa Ann Sweat is a multifaceted individual; she’s an acclaimed artist and a creative writer.  Sweat’s solo project Lady Lazarus offer thoughtful, almost existentialist lyrics and intimate confessions are sung in a lovely mezzosoprano that is alternatingly delicate and commanding.  The lyrics Sweat’s offer glide from dreamy to earthy, which in itself channels a timeless feel.

Lady Lazarus has shared the latest single coming off her album Impossible Journey Of My Soul Tonight (out October 18), “Golden Heart”.  In the track, Lady Lazarus openly wonders where she can find someone special as her past continues to be present.  The striking piano and Lazarus echoing vocals offer an emotional journey for the listener.
