Nashville electro/alt group Five Knives have been busy preparing for the release of their debut full-length via Red Bull Records later this year. Earlier this summer they premiered a video for the song “The Rising” exclusively on www.altpress.com. The video was directed by the winners of the L.A. Music Video Festival contest and can be seen here. “The Rising” is featured on the band’s current EP by the same name, which is available on iTunes and for free on www.fiveknivesmusic.com.
They’ve also been travelling with The Warped Tour this Summer. This is what they told Ghettoblaster before they left:
“We have never been on Warped, so we get to experience most of this stuff for a first time. There are a lot of cool artists like Big Chocolate, Crizzly, Juliet Sims and RdGldGrn that we are really looking forward to seeing.
The other thing that’s cool about Warped Tour is the social and awareness aspect. Keep A Breast will be on the tour helping young women understand breast cancer. Shirts For A Cure is a great organization with a great cause. Overall, we can’t wait to be a part of this big dysfunctional adult summer camp!”
