Philadelphia-based songstress Lilito debuted as a solo artist in 2022 with the wonderfully enchanting album, Happy Horse Lamp.  The album showcased alluring vocals over virtuosic, piano-based songs.  Extravagant character costumes and videos accompany each song and Lilito, who creates these, demonstrated that she’s as much an artist as a musician. 

In 2023, she played a handful of East Coast shows, including opening twice for ’90s-era singer / songwriter Juliana Hatfield.  She began work on her second album but paused in December to write and release a heart-wrenching solo piece titled, “Plea,” which was inspired by the events in Gaza.

Lilito’s new single, ‘Tally’ is a full-band song that demonstrates the growth and progression she’s made since the release of her stunning debut album.  Those that are familiar will hear a fresh, youthful, feminine energy, and be treated to melodies as colorful and image-inducing as any music can be.
