Song Premiere | Gemini Parks, “Price You Pay”

Gemini Parks is a genre blending, funk punk band that fuses hip-hop, pop, and glamcore in pursuit of a singular mission — to make you dance. Tomorrow, the band releases “Price You Pay,” their latest single to digital streaming platforms. With backing vocals from Penny Ptichlyn of Broncho, “Price You Pay” was recorded with Oklahoma-based producer Jarod Evans (Broncho, Flaming Lips) in 2022 at Blackwatch Studio.

Gemini Parks’ Josh Berwanger says, “‘Price You Pay’ was initially inspired by one of Ice T’s ‘Ice Cold Fact’ Tweets. It made me think of how people spend their time. Some people really have so much time in a day to talk bad about other people, or comment negative things on people they don’t know?  The world is melting, people need love and help. Life is a glass of water on a hot day, it’s full then it’s gone, and it goes fast. I want to live my life learning from mistakes, creating art, loving, helping others. If we all do that it sure would be a nicer place.”

The trio began playing shows recently, completing a week-long Midwestern tour just days ago, and released their debut single, “Up All Night,” in August. They plan on following their first two singles with a single drop monthly, so stay tuned.
