Today, The Ghost Is Clear Records announces that it will release the second album from Denver, Colorado’s Almanac Man on May 14, 2024. Pre-order Terrain here.
The writing phase for Terrain saw the addition of bassist Sean Dove (Warring Parties) who elevates the band’s already rock-solid levels of heavy dissonance. For this go-round, the band also continues to explore pristine, driving post- and noise-rock spaces and has refined their dual vocal attack.
Almanac Man returned to engineer Felipe Patino, who also recorded their debut, but raised the bar by doing the tracking at renowned Colorado studio The Blasting Room. The mixing duties were handled by Scott Evans of Anti-Sleep Audio, and who is known for his work with Kowloon Walled City, Great Falls, and Facet), before finalizing the record by mastering with Brad Boatright of Audiosiege.
