Sarah Mootz Shares Single “Something” Featuring Elijah Johnston

Born a little blue, Sarah Mootz’s mature and “passed-annoyed” attitude influences her addicting sound. Although she sings with a defeated angst in her voice, Mootz is an empress of her emotional condition and carries this out through her confident vocal belts and honest-heart wrenching lyrics.

Mootz has shared “Something,” a stunning indie-pop single that encompasses Mootz’s vision to utter perfection. Featuring Elijah Johnston on backing vocals, “Something” begins with an acoustic guitar which then makes way for an emotional blast of drum loops and echoing guitars.

Mootz’s love for music started when she recognized the power it had to pull her through any situation. It grew dramatically when she found a passion to write what was deep in her heart, fearlessly and melodies to go along with. She picked up guitar when she began crafting her original sound.

After many years of fighting to be seen and respected in an ever so complicated industry Sarah has finally been able to create an album with full creative control. “Eat your heart out” was produced and mastered by Tommy Trautwein of Well Kept who has also worked alongside other up and coming bands such as Hotel Fiction, Zac Crook, and Elijah Johnston just to name a few. The album is set to drop this year (2022).
