Saint Sinner Shares “Calm Me Down” Featuring El Santi

“Calm Me Down” is the latest single from Mexico City-based Grammy-nominated songwriter, composer, producer and performer Saint Sinner. The emotionally compelling song with a driving beat features rising star and collaborator from her current home city, El Santi. Along with the new track comes another gorgeous visual filmed at Nevado de Toluca, a volcano outside of Mexico City.

“This song is about feeling afraid and alone, being able to call someone and receive from them. It’s a piece that humans share in love,” notes Saint Sinner. “When I read Santi’s lyrics it really hit home for me. For him to arrive with lyrics that were so heartfelt, present and a part of all of our stories, it was a beautiful addition to this record. I’ve learned how to cultivate my feelings and relax or invigorate them, and that’s represented here in the chorus and the verse.”

“The first time I heard the song, my heart went crazy and I knew it was one of those songs that gets to your soul,” adds El Santi. “The main thing that connects with Hannah and me is our soul. We are humans who run and move by our intuition and spirit. I hope you like the song and makes you feel special, as it does to both of us and all of the beautiful people involved.”

Most widely known for her Grammy-nominated vocal feature on Tycho’s 2019 album Weather, Cottrell has made a name as an artist in her own right. Saint Sinner is about freedom, love and balance. Written and recorded over the past several years and featuring collaborators from across the world, Saint Sinner’s new music showcases composition, recording and mixing, production skill and already-proven songwriting and vocal performances.

“Calm Me Down” follows previous 2021 singles Couch Business and “Rainbow Road.” The three tracks are available now as an EP and can be heard here: https://dashgo.co/calmmedown
