Riot For Romance, a band that blends post-punk, shoegaze, and post/alt-rock vibes to produce their brand of rock and roll, announced that they will release their self-titled EP on February 11 via Steadfast Records and Friend Club Records.
Having collectively cut their teeth in bands like Sleeping By The Riverside, The Sincerity Guild, Maylene and The Sons Of Disaster, Underoath and Never Enough, Jason Hansen, Brett Miotti, and Kelly Nunnbring over 20 years of experience to the table; they’ve toured, logged studio time, produced internationally distributed releases, performed at music festivals, and have been played on radio. To this band, each member has a broad stroke of contributions: Hansen lends lead vocals, guitars, and keys, Miotti offers bass and ambient sounds galore, and Nunn plays drums and guitars while tweaking knobs and faders. As equal partners in songwriting, they clearly have their sights set on leaving an imprint on music.
The band premiered the first single/video from the EP this week. Check out “The World And It’s Weight” below:
