Porches tackle the trials of adulthood on forthcoming The House

Following on from 2016’s breakthrough album Pool, Porches are ready to drop The House, scheduled for a January 19 release. The House, written and recorded over an 18-month stretch, immediately following the completion of Pool, is a reckoning with and meditation on the changes wrought by time. Taking a diary-like approach, the 14 gorgeous songs on this record are both incredibly personal and yet wholly relatable to anyone who has crossed the threshold from carefree youth into the poignant trials of adulthood, or has faced the inevitable realization that nothing can stay the same forever.
Porches are going on a North American tour starting February 15, starting in Philadelphia and ending in Brooklyn March 23.
