Beloved Ohio pop label Poptek Records have announced that they’ve drafted Dayton, Ohio’s The 1984 Draft and will release the band’s forthcoming LP, The 1984 Draft Makes Good Choices, in 2018. The LP was recorded earlier this year with esteemed engineer Patrick Himes (Yardboss, Ryan Adams) at his Reel Love studio in Dayton.
The 1984 Draft has a few shows coming up to close out the year, first with Radar State (members of The Get Up Kids) at The Basement in Columbus, Ohio, on December 15, and singer Joe Anderl will perform solo as part of the 15th annual Holidayton show at Blind Bob’s in Dayton, Ohio, on December 23.
