Today, Owen is sharing “On With The Show”, the latest single from the forthcoming new album The Avalanche (Polyvinyl Records), out June 19th. The Avalanche (Polyvinyl Records) is the latest entry in the long-running solo efforts of American Football’s Mike Kinsella, and was recorded with producer Sean Carey (Bon Iver, Peter Gabriel) and engineer Zach Hanson (The Tallest Man On Earth, Waxahatchee). The title “On With The Show” might land with a bit of irony considering the world’s current state of paralysis, but its lyrical allusions to resignedly trudging through life’s drama should find universal appeal to anyone who currently feels their own personal narrative is out of their own control. “It’s not a choice I made,” sings Kinsella of his own experience “So on with the show.”
