On The Road Again: Joey Vannucchi of From Indian Lakes

From Indian Lakes

From Indian Lakes

From Indian Lakes will be setting out on a full U.S. tour this March/April.  The band will be playing their highly acclaimed album, Able Bodies, which was released via Triple Crown, plus other fan favorites.
Ghettoblaster caught up with singer Joey Vannucchi to ask some questions about the trek.  This is what he told us.
What is the planned playlist for your travels?
I’ve been listening to a lot of Washed Out, Bon Iver remixes, and Son Lux. Probably more dreamy things.
Which of the cities that you’ll be visiting are you most excited about and why?
We all love Chicago a lot. New York City can be a lot of fun if you’re in the mood.
Which of your destinations are you most anxious about?
I guess New York City.
What are the top three essential, must-have items that you take on the road with you?
A good book or handheld game. Great headphones. A subscription to Spotify.
What will you miss most about home while you are away?
Loved ones of course, and silence. Not much silence on tour.
Do you keep a diary during your travels? If so, is it public? Can we share it?
I haven’t kept a diary for a while.
What is the craziest thing you’ve seen on the road during this or other tours?
One time we drove by a semi that had exploded and was completely engulfed in flames. You could feel the heat driving by.
