Moros Shares “Lurking Mass” From Forthcoming Album

Philadelphia’s Moros is a disgustingly heavy band who have been faithfully bludgeoning the eardrums of longtime fans for nearly a decade.

Featuring guitarist/vocalist Jason Dost (Krieg, ex Sunburster), bassist John Hauser, and Mike Howard (Rid Of Me, Fight Amp), their nihilistic brand of sludged-out metal merges the crushing heaviness of death metal with the melancholic atmospheres of doom metal. Influenced by Coffins, Noothgrush, Autopsy, Cannibal Corpse, and Burning Witch, Moros deliver their own interpretation of these sounds on two EPs (Life Assisted Suicide and High as Fuck and Ready to Die), a full-length album (Weapon), and collaborated on split releases with Black Urn and Lithotome.

Their forthcoming offering, Recrudescent Horror, is the first with Howard and showcases a refined sound that delves deeper into death metal while staying true to their brutal, sludge-drenched roots.
