It finally happened. Veteran emcee Longshot has been a staple of Chicago Hip-Hop for years, releasing a couple of handfuls of releases, both solo and collaborative releases like Addicted, Change Things, Issues with Copperpot as Coppershot, and more. Announced today is the collaborative release between Longshot and sureshot Minneapolis producer Lazerbeak for the new Parades LP (Doomtree Records), dropping sometime in June. The album brings together Lazerbeak’s dope beats alongside Longshot’s visceral lyricism. The duo brings everyone out of church and onto the dancefloor with the first single off the album “Just Dance.”
