La Femme Shares New Single ”Y Tu Te Vas”

French indie rock / pop group La Femme have released a new single “Y Tu Te Vas”. This track is the second single from their new studio album, Teatro Lucido, which is sung entirely in Spanish. Featuring the vocalist and songwriter Tatiana Hazel, “Y Tu Te Vas” is led by flamenco inspired guitars and a reggaeton-pop beat in the vein of current artists like Rosaliá. Speaking to their collaboration and how this song came together, La Femme frontman Marlon Magnée said “Tatiana is an artist living in Los Angeles where I recorded the track in 2019. ‘Y Tu Te Vas’ is one of the more powerful tracks voice-wise on the album. Tatiana brings the track to another dimension, she really is one of the new artists to follow on the American scene.”

“Y Tu Te Vas” and the album as a whole shows the group continuing to push the psych pop sound that La Femme are most known for to exciting new places, inspired by their trips to Latin America and Spain. Teatro Lucido will be released on November 4, 2022. You can pre-order the album HERE.
