EZTV shares video for "Clear," tours (2017)

Brooklyn indie rock trio EZTV have shared a new video for “Clear,” a nostalgic celebration of New York City summertime, shot with tasteful simplicity by Geoff Albores. The track comes from 2016’s High In Place. The band’s gearing up for a run of West Coast dates this month, full list below.
EZTV’s Michael Stasiak says, “I’ve known Geoff Albores socially for years as we both formerly worked as clerks at Other Music, a now defunct record store in Manhattan. I started following Geoff on Instagram and I fell into one of those Instagram k-holes, where you can’t help but scroll and scroll… He works exclusively with his phone camera and almost always in black and white, roaming every borough and taking these quick, energetic snaps of the people and scenes and architecture of the city. I feel like he captures New York with the same sympathetic, joyful eye as other renowned NYC street photographers like Bill Cunningham, Vivian Maier, Amy Arbus, Walker Evans or Helen Levitt. I asked him if he’d be interested in bringing his style of pavement-pounding reportage to “Clear,” one of my favorite songs on our 2016 album, and sent him the opening credit sequence from Sidney Lumet’s “Dog Day Afternoon,” as inspiration. Our song is a little more melancholy, and when Ezra sings “Early evening comes too soon,” it made me think of those long summer days spent running around town.”
