Eric Dash Shares Autobiographical Single “Killin’ Your Lies”

Acclaimed LA-based, Songwriter and producer Eric Dash announces his newest single, “Killin’ Your Lies.” In “Killin’ Your Lies,” Dash tells a story about his struggle within the music industry’s changing climate and with the pressure of social media.

In the beginning of 2019, Dash had his debut release as an artist/producer, which was received very well. On September 11th, he released “I Just Need To Get Away”, a rock anthem in the vain of Nirvana and Everclear.  Mixed by Adam Hawkins (Twenty One Pilots, K.Flay, Alanis Morissette) and mastered by Chris Gehringer (Halsey, Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey), the song is grounded in Dash’s love for 90s bands like Everclear, Fountains of Wayne, Weezer, Nirvana and Jimmy Eat World.

In 2012, Dash was discovered by notable producer Jack Joseph Puig (John Mayer/Black Crowes/Weezer).  Dash and Puig worked together for 5 years, releasing singles like “One More Love Song” which reached the Nielsen Top 40 Radio Chart.  “I don’t know how to follow trends.  That’s not inspiring to me whatsoever.  But to do something different and still be accepted…that’s what I want.  To be accepted as I am”.   “Mixed with some humorous banter, “I Just Need to Get Away” doesn’t get any clearer in it’s message. Delivered in a retro reverb of the olden days in its reenactment-style video, “I Just Need to Get Away” is a ’90s-driven power-pop rock anthem of the times and the deeper seated need that relates in today’s climate—a desire to escape all the craziness”
