Drew Danburry and friends are gearing up for a fall tour.
Drew Danburry is a part-time musician and full-time barber in Provo, Utah. Having spent years on the road playing music, he’s been settled for the past five years….until now. He’s hitting the road with Aubrey Debauchery & Ben Ricketts this Fall to promote a triple cassette album of anti-corporate jingles and a new vinyl record.
The triple cassette Writin’ Songs by The Funny Uncles contains over 100 songs of ironic commercial jingles written by Drew Danburry and John-Ross Boyce. Released by Related Records (based out of Phoenix/Los Angeles) and limited to only 100 copies, it comes on red, white and blue cassettes and includes a beautiful zine with amazing artwork from John-Ross Boyce.
Like, Listen To is a musical project that was established by Drew Danburry and Jesse Nicholas Quebbeman-Turley. Limiting themselves to an acoustic guitar, a string quartet and their voices, they entered MetCom Studios in SLC, Utah and recorded the album East of the Sun and West of the Moon live, straight to 1/4 tape on a 2 track, then mastered from tape straight to vinyl by Gotta Groove Records. The limited vinyl release represents an attempt to get as close to authenticity as possible.
