It had to happen, the Division Of Laura Lee returns with a new single, “Hollow Pricks” (Lovitt Records). A lot has changed for the band from Gothenburg, Sweden who played its first show 20 years ago and released a debut album 18 years ago. The band brings all the frenetic energy it’s been known for, taking nods from bands like Fugazi and Nation Of Ulysses, all the while adding in splashes of gorgeous melodies on top of pummeling rhythms. The song just might be the first song of many but only time will tell. Let’s just hope we don’t have to wait much longer for more songs like “Hollow Pricks.”
