Creepoid Return For Philly Reunion, New Releases

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania shoegazers Creepoid called it quits after a final hometown show at Union Transfer in early 2018, but now they’re back.

Almost seven years since their final show, they return to Union Transfer on February 15, 2025 with support from Full Body 2 and Halloween. For the show, singer/guitarist Sean Miller, singer/bassist Anna Troxell, and drummer Patrick Troxell will be joined by Drab Majesty’s Andrew Clinco on second guitar. Tickets are on sale here.

At the show, Creepoid makes Gutter Jeweler (a collection of lost demos from 2016 available).  it will be a cassette and a very limited lathe set. Lathe sets are limited to 50, and only available at the Union Transfer show (two lathes, four songs total).

Today, the band shares the title track from the demo set.

“This track offers a reimagining of George Washington as a seedy wood-toothed, wig-wearing recluse suffering an identity crisis while peddling questionable wares to passersby from down in the sewers,” says Miller.

2025 also marks the 10th anniversary of the band’s third and final album, Cemetery Highrise Slum, which was released via Collect Records a few months before the label shuttered. The band recently brought the album to digital streaming platforms for the first time in almost a decade, and Philadelphia label Abandon Everything Records is reissuing the album on LP (which will be available at the show and for purchase by mail order).
