Cody ChesnuTT drops new solo track & video "Bullets In The Streets And Blood"

Cody ChesnuTT, the soul troubadour known for his frank and raw storytelling, has dropped his first new solo track in four years with the single “Bullets IN The Streets And Blood” Featuring Rahael Saadiq along with a video for it. Cody says of the track “inspired by the alarming gun violence plaguing the cities of America, the song calls attention to the break down of humanity that awaits us all if the value of love and life is not restored”. The music video capitalizes on the innocence of children and the beauty of nature to convey Cody’s warning of what will be lost if change does not come.

Wearing his poetic license on his skin like a battle scar, Cody’s third full-length album, My Love Divine Degree is slated for release in early 2017. The album is being produced byAnthony “The Twilight Tone” Khan, a BMI Award winning, Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, and DJ known for his work with Kanye West, Common, John Legend, and Pusha T. Cody’s new track continues to present us with his ruminations on life that challenge popular notions of what popular soul music can look and sound like, and is a taste of what’s to come next year.
