Within the ranks, the members of ANCESTORS weighed the option of going about making prog rock or heavy rock when the project started to form.  Thankfully, the band made the best decision and merged the two together to form a sound that is dense and heavy, along with incorporating raw human emotion.
It’s been six years since we last heard from the Los Angeles-based ANCESTORS, a stretch of time that included some lineup changes and life altering events.  Due to these factors, delaying the continuation of making new music was no option.  Today, ANCESTORS have returned with their tour de force single “Gone”.  Coming off their upcoming album Suspended In Reflection, “Gone” roars into the musical landscape with power, yet slowly moves forward instrumentally.
Suspended In Reflection is slated to be released on August 24^th via Pelagic Records.
