Album Stream: Red Hymns, Vol. 2

Bergen County New Jersey’s Red Hymns deliver post-hardcore with hooks. Formed in 2015, the band have set out to deliver four muscular EPs that demonstrate their proclivity for face melting riffs, and beautiful melodies that harken to forefathers like Quicksand and Deftones.
Vol. 2, out October 27, was recorded by John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, and Shai Hulud) and mixed by Beau Burchell of Saosin.
Today. Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of streaming the EP. This is what Red Hymn’s Jeremy Hernandez had to say about it:
“Vol. 2 demonstrates a clear progression for Red Hymns. It is heavier and more technical while retaining our melodic vocal sensibilities.”
