Album Stream: King Buu, "The Ballad of Tin Erik"

Cleveland, Ohio’s own King Buu have declared to the world that they are four relatively well-behaved gents that occasionally play music together.   Who are we to argue with such a statement?  Formed back in 2016 during a bagel break, lead singer Mike Madgar and guitarist Cameron Milani recruited bassist Erik Marsh and drummer Wesley Who to make up the band’s lineup. King Buu has instilled a pop sound that also comes off of what the band calls “modern warehouse rock.”

Kinf Buu are now streaming their latest album The Ballad of Tin Erik today.  While the band maintains the staple sound that they have built, they expand into new genres.“The Ballad of Tin Erik is a country-inspired, alternative-psych concept album. It tells the story of Tin Erik, a bass playing robot from the future, sent to the past to battle himself through a variety of genres; most notably country, funk, and good ‘ol rock ‘n roll.  It was recorded in a few short days at the Akron Recording Company in Akron, OH,” the band stated.
