Where did people go? What did we wear? What did we watch? How did we feel? What moments do we share in common? All this and more is covered in “Mookie on The southside.”

The opening was amazing. Everyone from News and Art correspondents, visual artists, collectors, fans, friends, and even musicians like Georgia Anne Muldrow came through to see the show.

His artistic push is to document his time/the time. representation, the colors, and the details. The details are those pieces in the picture/video that tell you what year it is, status, temperament, the context clues. Through video, painting, textile and teaching Pugs has been doing this for more than 25 years. Currently, he is working with DCASE, The Englewood Arts Collective, Chicago Public Art Group, and the Luv Institutes Parade of Hearts.
