Song Premiere | ExactlyNo, ‘Wait’

Don’t underestimate the wall of sound that Minneapolis-based duo ExactlyNo can deliver. The proof is in the band’s captivating hooks and high-energy live show. Since 2016, Ted Anderson and Nick Larsen have delivered riff-heavy, melodic and memorable rock music.

The band found its songwriting stride prior to entering the studio to create 2SAD/2SERIOUS (Cardinal Sun Records) out June 5, and armed with an abundance of songs and ideas, additional experimentation emerged during the record-making process. Working again with Soul Asylum bassist Jeremy Tappero producing and mixing the album, as well as mastering engineer Bruce Templeton (Hey Mercedes, Dillinger Four)

In fact, Templeton says, “The record’s clear artistic vision, detailed production, and immediately engaging songs represent a major milestone for the band.”

Today, the band shares ‘Wait,’ a compelling emo/punk-leaning rocker from the effort.
