Chicago poet/artist Jamila Woods recently dropped a new song, “Boundaries,” and today she’s back with a remix for it from Chicago duo DRAMA. She notes of the remix: “When I was thinking about who I wanted to reimagine the Boundaries track, I immediately thought about Na’el Shehade. I’ve been a huge fan of DRAMA for many years but was only recently able to see them live for the first time at the Metro in Chicago, where I absolutely danced my ass off. I love the way his remix transforms the journey of the song and really makes you wanna move.” 

DRAMA adds: “When Jamila came to us about remixing Boundaries, we were really excited – it’s always a pleasure to work with a fellow Chicagoan! We wanted to keep the global feeling from the original song in the remix. We loved the message of the record and wanted to keep as much of the story intact, while transforming it into an upbeat dance track.”
