The venomous blues-punk, swamp-garage sounds of The Cutthroat Brothers conjure bands like The Gun Club, The Cramps, The Stooges, and even a taste of Sonic Youth and Hawkwind. The Cramps / 13th Floor Elevators inspired ‘Like a Zombie’, and the trio paired up with director/animator Shittydizzny. The track, featuring lurching drums like a sledgehammer beating on Satan’s bedroom door, mix with horrorshow organ by Jack Endino himself, is sure to be a snarling, howling, Halloween anthem to curse the turntables of greasy creeps and ghouls everywhere for decades to come.
