Prepping to release his latest EP Hold (out March 16), Nova Scotia-based musician Rich Aucoin has released a video for the new single “The Middle.”
Directed by Meags Fitzgerald, the musician recruited her to put together a video that puts the artists’ impeccable ambidextrous drawings on display. As for the song, Aucoin layers ethereal synths and free-flowing lines on top of vocals that softly build towards the highest peak.
The Hold EP is being described as a dreamy four-track effort that illustrates a rebirth for the Canadian musician. “The Middle” is the perfect single that give audiences and fans a taste on what’s coming soon.
