FEA is the continued ferocity of Girl in a Coma’s Phanie Diaz and Jenn Alva, joined by lead vocalist Letty Martinez and guitarist Aaron Magana. Their melodic brand of riot grrrl Chicana punk immediately caught the ear of iconic collaborators including Joan Jett who signed them to Blackheart Records.
In celebration of their their June tour with Against Me! FEA have shared the video for “Mujer Moderna”, a punk assault in English and Spanish that embraces modern women’s power and complex identities. The video, directed by the band’s Jenn Alva, echoes the band’s ability to be playful while dealing with difficult topics and depicts different types of women at a FEA show hanging out and joining forces to look out for each other and take over the club.

The group has also just released the limited edition Zine EP 7-inch, produced by Babes in Toyland’s Lori Barbero, out now on Blackheart Records. The limited 7-inch is available at their upcoming tour dates, online, and in select stores.
