Birthmark (aka Nate Kinsella) shares "Find Yourself," readies LP for Polyvinyl

Nate Kinsella, who makes music under the name Birthmark, is excited to announce the forthcoming release of a new album. How You Look When You’re Falling Down will be released October 16 via Polyvinyl.
He has shared the first track from the album, “Find Yourself” via Stereogum who said “Nate Kinsella made his mark in the Chicago music scene playing with prominent rocker cousins Mike (in American Football) and Tim (in Joan Of Arc and Make Believe)…but Nate’s own influence resonates through his solo project Birthmark. (“Find Yourself”) embodies exactly what the title reads, with poppy hooks singing the praises of exploration and freedom. The result is a vibrant and shimmering soundtrack for everyone’s personal journey.”

How You Look When You’re Falling Down is available to pre-order here. The album will be available on 180-gram white w/ sunglow + seafoam splatter vinyl (limited to 300 / only available through Polyvinyl), CD and MP3.   It is the follow up to 2012’s achingly intimate Antibodies on which explored quiet, contemplative terrain.
