Renowned for their satirical approach to punk rock, The Dead Milkmen will kick off their first West Coast tour in nearly three years TONIGHT at Vancouver’s Fortune Sound Club. The nearly SOLD OUT run ends with two shows in L.A. on April 25 & 26.
Following this West Coast run in April, the Philadelphia quartet will be making special stops in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL this coming May. A full list of dates for The Dead Milkmen’s West Coast tour can be found below.
The Dead Milkmen first took the underground punk scene by storm in the late 80s, later invading the mainstream with quirky hits like “Punk Rock Girl” and “Bitchin’ Camaro”. Then by 1995, The Dead Milkmen did what any self-respecting band on the rise to fame would do: disband. After reuniting at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest in 2008, The Dead Milkmen gained a second wind and released 2011’s The King In Yellow. But the creative juices kept flowing (eww) and the band released the critically acclaimed Pretty Music For Pretty People this past fall via Quid Ergo.
