Austin’s Pure X recently released their third LP, Angel, on Mississippi based label Fat Possum to overall acclaim, with Spin calling it an “amorous, heavenly” album. Since then, they’ve toured with Real Estate and played their hometown’s Psych Fest, attracting one of their biggest audiences to date. Now, the band has announced a run of dates on the West Coast. All shows are on sale now.
Additionally, the band has shared their take on two songs by the legendary artist, Eddie Rabbit: “Eddie rabbit was born in Brooklyn in 1942 and died in Nashville in 1998. He was a great songwriter who we all admire. His songs influenced us a lot during the writing and recording of Angel. Here are two of our favorites.”
