Bloomington, IN surf psychsters Triptides are at it again.  Their most recent release, a six song EP titled Colors was released today, both digitally and on a limited edition cassette.  Recorded at home at various times throughout the last six months, Colors provides listener with the best idea yet of what the band is capable of accomplishing (which seems to be quite a lot) from their home base/studio, Sun Pavilion, in Bloomington.
What began as the bedroom project of Glenn Brigman and Josh Menashe has evolved into one of the up and coming bands in the lo-fi surf psych movement that’s surfacing today. The six song EP can purchased in both available formats (digital and cassette) on Bandcamp, where it is featured in the “New and Notable Records” section on the site’s homepage and in the Jaunt Store.  The limited edition cassettes will also be available for purchase (while copies last) at the band’s upcoming shows:
