Alabama-born, Los Angeles-based polymath Whitmer Thomas, most recently seen in film Weapons, shares a music video for “On A Roll,” the new single from his forthcoming Melina Duterte (Jay Som)-produced EP, Tilt (Saddle Creek), out this Friday. The video, shot by frequent collaborator Clay Tatum, features Thomas playing Jack Nicholson in Las Vegas, apt for a collection of songs inspired by stories of casinos and gambling.

“‘On A Roll’ was written after I gambled away everything I earned on tour and was doing my best to laugh about it. My intention was to capture the excitement of heading to the casino and the major bum out of leaving a loser, with some pit stops along the way,” Thomas says of the song.

Whitmer Thomas is hitting the road this fall on a US tour in support of Tilt that kicks off on Nov 6th in Seattle, WA and wraps in Brooklyn, NY on Nov 14th. Tickets are available now via whitmerthomas.com. All dates below.
