Cincinnati, Ohio’s Juan Cosby is a bit of an enigma. While the producer/musician is far from being a recluse, there’s almost little to no information about him. He’s dropped an assortment of releases throughout the years: solo efforts, collaborations with Spoken Nerd, Eugenius, and others, group efforts with his crew Counterfeit Money Machine, soundtracks, etc., but still, we know nothing about him aside from his penchant for delivering eloquent track after track that never gets exhausting to listen to.
It isn’t difficult to find solace within his music, which is why he’s such a sought after producer. He’s just announced the release of his next full-length release, The Inverted Castle (Grasshopper Juice Records), which is scheduled to drop on April 11, 2026. The album is filled to the brim with guest appearances by the likes of Illogic, MC Homeless, Heir Max, OneWerd, and, of course, frequent collaborator Spoken Nerd.
Today, Cosby delivers the video for his new single “Undone.” This go-around, he’s tapped the extraordinary singer/songwriter Soultru and the enigmatic Onry Ozzborn. Musically, Cosby’s composition fits well with both artists who trade verses with Soultru also providing that stormy hook across it.
