With “Where Else,” Grandbrothers unveil the third single from their upcoming album Elsewhere (_and_others). out  September 26, 2025. More than any other piece on the album, the track is rooted in the experience of playing live – and it has already become a defining moment in their concerts.

Built around a driving four-to-the-floor pulse, swirling synth layers and rhythmic piano patterns, “Where Else” finds the duo drawing more directly than ever from club aesthetics. It marks a further step in their sonic evolution – while staying true to the emotional depth and textural richness that defines their work.

“This one really came out of our live shows,” says Erol Sarp. “Over time, the vibe shifted – we moved from seated venues into standing crowds, and that brought a different kind of intensity. Where Else was our response to that shift.”

Lukas Vogel adds: “It became our closer, the track we’d always end on. There’s something open and forward-moving about it – it felt like a good place to say: this is where we are now.”

In parallel with the single release, Grandbrothers are sharing a live video of “Where Else,” recorded during their late-night performance on the main stage of this year’s Haldern Pop Festival in Germany, held in early August – now available on the official Grandbrothers YouTube Channel.
