Asbury Park-bred, New York City-based soul singer Goldie Scott is thrilled to share her new single “Mista Mystery” and its accompanying video. Oozing with 70s vintage vibes and driven by a funky bass groove and powerful vocals, “Mista Mystery” introduces the new era of disco for Goldie Scott. Written in New Orleans, the song is imbued with The Big Easy’s long history of funk, soul and pop. The lyrics transport the listener to a daydream of their ultimate romantic fantasy.

Speaking on the song, Goldie Scott recalls: “‘Mista Mystery’ is a spin on ‘Mr. Mystery’, but with a bit more steeze/personality. ‘Mista Mystery’ is the stranger you see walking down the street, in a random store who you envision your whole life with in a glimpse of a moment. This person does not even have to try to be cool, they just are. They embody ultimate sex appeal, yet you know nothing about them because they are that mysterious. We are all intrigued.”
