The four-man Baltimore hip-hop crew known as GAWDS have dropped a new single this morning, “100 Below.”  Featuring a melodic hook courtesy of Mike Brown (who also produces under the name Tom Delay and has laced tracks from Sean Price and Dirt Platoon among others).  Speaking on the track’s title, emcee Regulus recalled “it was paranormally cold in the studio the day we recorded.  Somebody said it’s like ‘100 Below in here’!  L3 wrote the hook and the rest is history.”

GAWDS includes Regulus and is rounded out by fellow emcee Pinpoint and L3 (who also sings) as well as DJ Rocky Styles. The group’s newly released album is Legends At The Divebar and in addition to Mike Brown also features work by producer Stu Bangas as well as vocal features from Pawz One, ethemadassassin, Finch (Pink Elefants), C Love, FatBoi, and Sonny Reddz.
