The band – made up of J. Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph – announced the release of the band’s 12th full-length release Sweep It Into Space (Jagjaguwar Records) set for release on April 23, 2021. The forthcoming release has been a couple of years in the making, with co-production by Kurt Vile, and had been snagged by Covid-19 delays the previous year.

In anticipation of the album, the band takes the opportunity to share the new single “I Ran Away” on which Kurt Vile can be heard with his acoustic guitar, offering up a more laid-back vibe for the band. At any rate, fans will still find the Dinosaur Jr.’s signature here. As usual, the album was mixed by constant conspirator John Agnello.
