It’s been 9 years since Dark Time Sunshine, the duo of Seattle emcee Onry Ozzborn and Chicago sound manipulator Zavala, released an album under its banner but the duo has set their sights on making tomorrow one of the most memorable with the release of Lore (Fake Four, Inc.), its fifth long-player. With guest appearances ranging from Ceschi, R.A.P. Ferreira, Homeboy Sandman, and Hail Mary Mallon (Aesop Rock, Rob Sonic, DJ Big Wiz), it just might do that. Lore follows the blueprint it left behind off of its 2012 release ANX but here, DTS expands on it exponentially. Still present is Ozzborn’s captivating deliveries, enshrouded in melodies both he and Zavala provide from track to track.
