New Jersey hip-hop/house innovator Cakes Da Killa is back with a new song, “Sex Drive,” his first music since 2022 critically acclaimed sophomore effort, Svengali. A provocative club track that leaves no room for interpretation, Cakes notes: “With the rise of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, I’m inspired to live louder. “Sex Drive” is an in-your-face anthem about owning your sexuality; linking up with platinum-selling and legendary Baltimore Club producer Mighty Mark to make it a club banger was a no brainer!” You can see him perform the song on his current Sex Drive tour that will make a US stop in Brooklyn on July 15th for a Boiler Room show, along with stops at Glastonbury, Sonar, and much more.
