Buffalo Daughter released the sadly relevant, yet totally bumpin’ new single “Global Warming Kills Us All” off their first album in seven years, We Are The Times, out later this fall. The single comes paired with a video made by producer/DJ/visual artist Kid Koala, an old friend and collaborator of the band, who enlisted the help of the animator Jon Jon to bring his characters to life.

“There was a lot of musical material from the album recording that started with studio sessions in 2017,” Buffalo Daughter’s guitarist suGarYoshinaga tells us, “It was mid-summer of 2018 (insanely hot summer when even mosquitoes were not around) when we gathered all those puzzles and pieces together to make them into songs for the album. This song is one of them, and with the impact from the extreme weather, we felt the cry of the Earth and sang it in the vocoder voice.”
