Bomba Estéreo has released the new single “Romántica Champeta.” The song’s official video was filmed near Barranquilla and directed by Li Saumet and Jhoy Suarez. “Romántica Champeta” is a collaboration with champeta star Kevin Florez and producer The Busy Twist. This song is a tribute to the legendary Barranquilla Carnaval. The Carnival celebrates the diversity, music, and dance traditions of the region. It is often considered to be the second most important cultural celebration in Latin America following the Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro.

For Bomba, especially Li Saumet, the Barranquilla Carnival is one of the most important moments of the year. The song is a celebration of Li’s roots and invites listeners to feel the joy and colorful spirit of the party. “Romántica Champeta” follows the recent release of Bad Bunny’s “Ojitos Lindos” video featuring Bomba Estéreo. The video was directed by longtime Bad Bunny collaborator Stillz and filmed in Los Angeles.
