The Madrid-based power pop Yawners today released the single “La escalera”.  The joyful celebration of loving the early summer time and being alive highlight the frontwoman and songwriter Elena Nieto’s lyrics that detail her time in la Costa Brava (the Mediterranean Coast of North Catalonia).  “La escalera” is also the only song in Spanish in the upcoming debut album Just Calm Down, which will released on March 22 via La Castanya and is available for preorder.

In support of Just Calm Down, Yawners will playing in the U.S. for the first time, appearing at this year’s SXSW:
