Seattle emcee and vocalist Xperience aka XP premieres his new video for “Gawtdang,” produced by Brainstorm and Tyler Dopps. It’s a stand-alone single that evokes a classic 90’s R&B feel while being firmly planted in 2017.

Anyone familiar with urban culture and music in the great northwest knows Oldominion (Onry Ozzborn, Sleep, JFK) a collective made up of more than twenty members. XP was the last member to join the collective over a decade ago back in 2006. Last year the rapper released the album Chasing Grace, an album defies classification. He not only raps but also sings. And sings really well.  The opening “Not Today” showcases his talents and the rest of the album expands on it. It also includes guest appearances by Budo, Prince Po, and Aesop Rock.
