Waking Kills the Dream was the band of ex-Morning Again vocalist Kevin Byers and 12 Tribes guitarist Matt Tackett.  During the era captured here, J. Bird, now of Neon Warship, played drums, a couple dudes from Etherea, and Joe Anderl of The 1984 Draft rounded out the lineup. Similarities to Poison the Well, Boy Sets Fire, Hopesfall and From Autumn to Ashes were definitely present.
