Deep in the heartland of Ohio is the charming little city, Yellow Springs. Known to those who live in and around the area speak poetically about all that it encompasses creatively. Past and current inhabitants include Rod Sterling, Coretta Scott King, and David Chapelle. Musically, local band Speaking Suns have been mapping out their own path that has made the townspeople thrilled to call them their own.
Since the release of their debut Vanishing Country in 2014, Speaking Suns have toured all around the Midwest and East Coast, picking up a large following along the way. In September, Speaking Suns released their follow-up Range via Anyway Records. The album features crisp poppy tunes that are polished but yet still feel natural to the band’s vision.
Ghettoblaster is proud to premiere the video for “Honing In.” Directed by Danielle Petrosa, the video is a beautifully made piece filled with kaleidoscopic visuals.
