Saintseneca share video for "How Many Blankets Are In The World?," tour (2015, 2016)

Saintseneca has premiered a brand new video. The clip is for the song “How Many Blankets Are in the World” from their acclaimed recent release Such Things, an album which found the band adopting a more straight ahead and heavier, albeit still innovative, sound.

The video, directed by Jon Washington, features band singer and songwriter Zac Little performing alone while walking slowly through a large dimly lit drainage pipe. As Little explains, “I first explored this tunnel with some friends. After hearing the eerie echo of footsteps and voices, I knew it would a good place to sing a song.”
The simple evocative imagery provides a powerful metaphor for the songs profound and contemplative lyrics “Life is long, long enough to be mean, life is short, short enough to mean something to those who long” – with Little eventually emerging from the darkened tunnel into the light as he finishes.
Saintseneca are currently finishing a run of successful European dates and heading back to North America for a series of shows both headlining and teaming with the band Thao And The Get Down Stay Down.
