If there was such a genre as “American Rock,” I’d have to say the London band Sorry does it better than many Americans bands do. The group shares the track “Lies,” which is actually the B-side to their debut “Wishes.” That single follows the recent self-release of Home Demo(ns) Vol. 1, an eclectic, homespun 13 track mixtape with accompanying visuals co-directed by Asha and Flo Webb. But “Lies” sounds like more than a simple filler B-side, as their dirge is filled with walls of guitar, schizophrenic vocals on the brink of collapse, which makes the track seem as if it’s filled with despair.
